What is Strayer University?

One of the most remarkable aspects of Strayer University, and a key component to its success, is the caliber of its people, both faculty and students.

Faculty Profile. Strayer University employs both full-time and part-time faculty. Strayer strives to hire instructors that are caring, dedicated professionals that love to teach and who combine academic credentials with practical work experience. Most of these instructors are also currently employed in the field they teach so they can bring a real-world perspective to the classroom.

Student Profile. On average, Strayer University students are working adults, with an average age of 34, and with annual incomes ranging from $20,000 to more than $80,000. They work in a wide variety of fields, including business, finance, technology, manufacturing, health care, and many others. They come from more than 50 countries and from every racial and ethnic background.
