To take advantage of this opportunity, Strayer University has made its entire curriculum available online in two formats. In addition to the original synchronous format, Strayer University’s Online Campus now offers an asynchronous format. The synchronous format offers the advantage of real-time interaction, and most closely simulates the traditional classroom experience. The asynchronous (or time-independent) format, on the other hand, offers unsurpassed flexibility, enabling students and instructors to participate in the class at any time, day or night. The asynchronous format eliminates time zone obstacles, making higher education more convenient for Strayer University students in other markets.
